Terms
The deal, in plain language.
Last updated May 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of Calendoer - the browser experience, the iPhone app, the Apple Watch app, the website at calendoer.ai, and the syncing service that ties them together. By using Calendoer, you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the service. We've tried to keep this readable.
1. Acceptance
Using Calendoer means you've read these terms and accept them. If you're using the service on behalf of a company or other organization, you're representing that you have authority to accept them for that entity.
2. Eligibility
You need to be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use Calendoer. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
3. Your account
Sign-in is handled by Apple or Google. Keep your sign-in credentials secure - anyone with access to them can act as you in Calendoer. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, write to support@calendoer.ai.
4. The service
Calendoer is a calendar and task client for the browser, iPhone, and Apple Watch. We sync with services you connect (Google Calendar, Outlook, Notion, Linear, Todoist, and Obsidian) and present them in one place. We're constantly improving the app. Features may be added, changed, or removed. If we ever remove a feature you've come to depend on, we'll tell you in advance where reasonably possible.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Calendoer to break the law or to harm others;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse our infrastructure or the third-party APIs we connect to;
- Use the voice or flyer-scan features to capture or process content you don't have the right to use;
- Attempt to access another person's account, or interfere with someone else's use of the service.
6. Your content
You own the events, tasks, notes, and other content you create or import. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display that content for the sole purpose of operating Calendoer for you. That's it - we don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't share it with anyone outside the integrations you've explicitly connected.
7. Third-party integrations
Calendoer connects to services we don't operate (Google Calendar, Outlook, Notion, Linear, Todoist, and Obsidian). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for outages, changes, or data losses on their end. When you disconnect an integration, we delete the access token within a reasonable time and stop reading from that service.
8. Pricing
Calendoer may offer free and paid access tiers. We are still shaping the paid tier, and we will publish clear pricing before charging for anything. If we introduce subscriptions:
- We'll notify you in the app before paid features become available.
- Purchases may be offered through Apple, the web, or another payment provider, and the checkout surface will explain the billing terms before purchase.
- We won't move existing functionality behind a paywall without notice.
- Refunds are handled by the payment provider used for the purchase unless we state otherwise at checkout.
9. Intellectual property
Calendoer, the Calendoer name, the wordmark, the app UI, and the website are ours. You're licensed to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy or redistribute our code, brand assets, or marketing materials without permission.
10. Termination
You can stop using Calendoer anytime by deleting your account from the Settings screen. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or pose a security risk - we'll do our best to give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first, except in cases that require immediate action.
11. Disclaimers
Calendoer is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the service running, accurate, and secure, but we don't guarantee that sync will always be perfect, that the service will always be available, or that it will fit any specific purpose. Treat critical events the same way you'd treat them in any calendar - verify important meetings.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calendoer's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or (b) US$50. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Calendoer harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If a change is material - anything affecting your rights or how the service works - we'll notify you in the app and give you a chance to review before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
